ThaiData UK ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at thaidata.uk. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect any information when you use our free calculators and tools.
1. Information we collect
We collect minimal information. Specifically:
- Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it via our email capture form to receive a free cost report. We never require an email to use the calculators.
- Usage data — we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymised data about how visitors interact with our site (pages viewed, time on site, click patterns, general location by country). No personally identifiable information is captured via GA4 or Clarity.
- Calculator inputs — all inputs you enter into our calculators (staff numbers, dish names, cost sliders) are processed entirely in your browser. This data is never sent to our servers.
2. How we use your information
- Email addresses are used solely to send the requested free cost report. We do not sell or share your email with third parties.
- Analytics data is used to understand how users interact with the site and to improve our tools.
3. Cookies
We use cookies via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. These are analytics cookies used to distinguish users and sessions and understand user behaviour. You can manage your consent preferences via the cookie banner on our site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or opt out of Clarity via Microsoft's privacy choices.
4. Data retention
Email addresses submitted via our form are retained until you request removal. Analytics data (GA4) is retained for 14 months. Microsoft Clarity retains session data for 13 months. You may request deletion of your email at any time by contacting us.
